The Marquess of Winchester’s Regiment will be at Wrest Park for their annual St George’s Day event, depicting an English Civil War Royalist Foot Regiment in a drill two times a day with a troop of armoured Parliamentary Cavalry called Sir Heselrig’s Lobsters. We are also putting on a Living history encampment where you can learn about the lives of the civilians of the time, from the food in the Kitchens to the skilled crafts people.
This is a multi-period event with Re-enactors from the War of the Roses, Romans, Falconry and other entertainments for young and old, ending with a fight between St George and the Dragon.

Opening times 10:00am-5:00pm

Please note that there is a supplementary charge in addition to normal admission for this event.
