Llancaiach Fawr

Llancaiach Fawr celebrates the day Charles 1st visited the Manor in 1645 - With the Marquess of Winchesters Regt and quests from Richard Bagot's regt and John Owens Regt providing the military encampment, driil displays and The king's Guard for the weekends activities.

English Heritages Festival of History

English Heritages "Festival of History" is it's largest reenactment event of the year. The English Civil War Society was invited to stage a large battle and provide a living history encampment. The pictures on this link show the Marquess of Winchester's regiment taking part in the battle displays.

Chiltern Open Air Museum

This was a weekend long event held at the Chiltern Open Air Museum Buckinghamshire. The displays consisted of a full living history military encampment, drill displays of Pike, musket and artillery. Talks on various subjects of the period and ending with a short skirmish.
