English Heritages Festival of History

English Heritages "Festival of History" is it's largest reenactment event of the year. The English Civil War Society was invited to stage a large battle and provide a living history encampment. The pictures on this link show the Marquess of Winchester's regiment taking part in the battle displays. |

This was a weekend long event held at the Chiltern Open Air Museum Buckinghamshire. The displays consisted of a full living history military encampment, drill displays of Pike, musket and artillery. Talks on various subjects of the period and ending with a short skirmish. |
