My First Season

Will I need to join to take part?
Yes. You would have by now taken part in your 1st event where you took advantage of our introductory membership offer.

At your 2nd event you will be required to join, you can do this on the day and the forms will be provided. Your intro membership fee will be taken into account when becoming a full member

Is clothing still loaned out for my 1st season?
Yes, clothing will still be loaned but you will be expected to gradually buy your own clothing as the season progresses and hopefully by the end of your 2nd season you will have all of your own clothing.\r\n\r\nShould you still not have your own full kit after your 2nd season, new members will have priority over the spare clothing the regiment issues.

To help you do this the regiment makes all of its clothing or buys it in bulk for the members to purchase also 2nd hand kit is available should you wish to buy it.

Clothing is supplied to new members at a subsidised rate.

Do I need to buy any weapons to take part?
No, Pikes. muskets, swords, morions and armour are provided to the members to use throughout the season.

Members wishing to buy their own are given guidance on what to buy reflecting the status and role they are portraying.

Do I have to attend every event?
No, there is no pressure to attend every event. Members no matter how many events they attend are still a valued member of the regiment.

Though if you crave promotion, apart from needing to see a doctor, you would be expected to attend a majority of events and take an active role at those events.
